It's simply the idea that our holiday gift giving could be more meaningful and do more good. In addition to the gifts we enjoy shopping for and giving,
we're often compelled to give gifts that aren't so meaningful. Imagine if we replaced those gifts by giving others donations to their favorite charities.
And we requested that others do the same for us.
It would make our shopping easier and tax deductible. We would spend more time being with family and friends rather than in malls buying for them.
Our gift-giving would be more in keeping with the Christmas spirit. And, most importantly, a lot more money would go the people who need it most. Consider
that the amount of money spent on candy alone during the holiday season is greater than the annual budgets of the American Cancer Society, The American
Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity combined.
If this sounds like a good idea to you, please spread this message. And use the tools on the web-stie to help Redefine Christmas for yourself. Chances
are, you'll like the way it feels.
